My research focuses on the exploration of the opportunities of development of social and emotional skills and competencies and the development of resilience in early childhood, including the effectiveness of developmental programs in educational institutions. In addition to family influences, the pre-school and school atmosphere and the social experiences gained there have the greatest influence on children's social and emotional abilities and skills, so it is important that institutions have the appropriate knowledge and practices to promote the development of these areas. There are a number of effective pre-school and school development programs around the world, but in our country there is no primary school program that meets international standards. My current main objective is to introduce and test a development program in Hungary that promotes social and emotional skills and resilience.
