Students with disabilities

Students with disabilities or with serious chronic diseases which make the learning process difficult are entitled to certain support.

Based on the Hungarian law students with disabilities are those students who are living with physical disability, visual or hearing impairment, specific learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental disorders (e. g. dyslexia, ADHD), speaking disabilities, autism-spectrum disorders, or with multiple disabilities. Although the law does not include it, our university helps students with permanent medical treatment needs too, in case of conditions of special needs affecting the learning process (ELTE academic regulations for students, paragraph 208, chapter XIII).

The faculty coordinator and the Disability Centre are jointly responsible for supporting the learning process of the students with disabilities.
To validate the right to use any kind of support, students must be registered as students with disabilities by the disability coordinator of the faculty. The email address of the coordinator is:
