My research focuses on the complex and dynamically changing learning environment of environmental education. My research focuses on individual interpretations of the learning environment. Individual interpretations of the learning environment are a regular feature of environmental education, as our relationship with the environment varies from individual to individual and it is very situational in nature. To support the learning and teaching process, I explore and describe patterns that can be described along individual interpretations, which are thus important markers for the development of both natural and built environment education.
