The focus of my research is on pedagogical, educational and schooling alternativity, with a special focus on 21st century based classical reformist pedagogical concepts. In particular, I focus on the pedagogical practice of alternative schools based on classical reform pedagogical concepts, the place and role of alternative pedagogies and schools in public education and teacher education, and the multifaceted study of different alternative forms of education that can be identified in public education and school choice, such as learning communities, foreign and international schools, and schooling abroad.
