The positive role of exercise as a technique of prevention has always received a lot of attention. The importance of exercise in our lives when it comes to our health is well known. The advantages of an active lifestyle are emphasized in scientific literature. We have been found in several studies regarding the beneficial effects of physical exercise in relation to mental health. In general, physical activity Clow and Edmunds 2013 plays a role in the prevention of mental illnesses, such as in the case of depression and anxiety, and in this study Stevens et al 2013 shows sports as a source of pronounced stress. In the case of very high intensity of exercise, it draws attention to the compulsive and loss of control state in relation to physical activity. This can mean that instead of a positive state, a negative form of behavior is created, which the scientific literature calls exercise addiction.

In addition to the definitions of exercise addiction, the direction of the research deals with its formation, disease, epidemiology and, of course, its research and measurement methods. During the research, we compare our results with other behavioral addictions, such as game addiction or sex addiction.
