Main research areas
Cognitive abilities
The primary focus of my research is the understanding and explanation of individual differences in cognitive abilities, with a focus on intelligence, working memory, and executive functions. In particular, my research agenda is based on process overlap theory (Kovacs & Conway, 2016), a recent explanation of the general (g) factor of intelligence. Additionally, I endorse a number of research programs broadly related to cognitive abilities and or psychometrics, primarily related to computerised adaptive testing.
