My research focuses on innovative interventions and research methodologies to study adult learning and education in various disciplinary, institutional, cultural and regional contexts. In particular, I study academic development through teaching innovations in higher and adult education, mentoring for teaching in higher education, technology integration in higher and adult education, and social learning in online environments. Internationalization is a crucial component of successful adult and higher education programs, therefore researching its potentials is key. New aspects, such as online mobility and internationalisation through online technologies also constitute my research agenda.
