The focus of my research is musical imagery, in particular involuntary musical imagery and earworms. Earworms are a common everyday experience, but little is known about their triggers and neural background. The aim of my research is to explore these background factors, and to investigate the relationship between earworm experiences and various personality traits, using both questionnaires and other experimental methods.
