My research focuses on interoception, i.e. the perception of bodily signals. Both theoretical considerations and empirical research suggest that bodily sensations are closely related to various psychological processes. In my research, the critical examination of different measures of interoception (i.e., questionnaires assessing typical behavior as well as tests examining perceptual abilities) have a prominent role.
