Interpretative phenomenological analysis

Using interpretative phenomenological analysis as an idiographic, qualitative method.

Embodiment experience of chronically ill patients

Phenomenological study of the physical experiences of chronically ill patients.

Human-animal relations

My research interests focus primarily on the psychological, moral, and social interpretation of human-animal relationships. My qualitative, phenomenological research focuses on attitudes toward animals, animal welfare, and the role of animals in society, with a particular focus on the moral, affective, and identity dilemmas that arise in relationships with animals and that fundamentally shape individual self-identity and collective values.
