Main research areas
The focus of this research area encompasses the integration of digital technology into learning environments. Specializing in educational technology, the work aims to enhance learning and teaching through technology-enhanced learning methods e.g. mobile learning, blended learning, and the incorporation of IoT in education.
The research interest lies in the realm of technology-based assessment and evaluation, focusing on the development and integration of online assessment tools. The research also explores the application of AI in educational assessments to provide meaningful, personalized, and immediate automatic feedback.
The development of early numerical skills is crucial in the transition period between kindergarten and school, and more and more digital technology solutions are available to measure and develop them, but there is still no information on their effectiveness and applicability, so it is particularly important to study them.
This research focuses on the assessment and development of digital competence within educational contexts. Their research examines how digital competence can be effectively applied to enhance learning, problem solving, communication, and collaboration through technology. Additionally, we explore critical areas such as digital security, to prepare learners for the demands of a digitally-driven world.
