The focus of my interest is on the earliest intrauterine factors that affect bonding. During pregnancy, both parents form a relationship with the fetus - psycho-bio-social, transgenerational and couple relationship factors that shape the quality of this relationship are at the center of my interest. I am interested in the dynamics of the development of maternal and paternal roles, the nature of obstacles and possible ways to overcome them. The quality of the birth experience and the effect of skin-to-skin contact after birth on the subsequent mother-child and father-child relationship are also among the areas worthy of research.
