Cognitive‑behaviour therapy–based interventions

My research focuses on evaluating and developing the effectiveness of cognitive‑behavioral therapy interventions, with particular attention to identifying specific therapeutic factors and the psychological mechanisms underlying change. My main area of interest is the role of emotion regulation and cognitive processes in adapting to chronic stress, as well as their significance in the psychological adjustment to chronic illnesses such as cancer. My goal is to identify mechanisms that can contribute to the development of more effective, personalized psychological interventions and to improving patients’ quality of life.
