physical education teaching methods

The purpose and role of physical education classes has changed significantly in the past decades. The task of the lessons goes far beyond the development of physical motor skills, and for this reason, among others, the teaching methodology and the attitude of the teachers need to be renewed. The aim of my research is to develop new practices adapted to the needs of Generation Z.

Motivation of Physical Activity

Low physical activity levels are a global problem in the 21st century. The primary focus of my research is to stimulate motivation for regular physical activity in physical education classes in grade K-12 and in online physical education classes at university level.

Teaching Sport Games in a Constructive method

Sports games in PE lessons is an excellent area for constructive pedagogy. Inestigating the teaching methodologies - from K - 12 ages - of different sports games and analyzing the transfer effects between and on each other, in any of the invasion- and wall-, and net games.

Drop-out of organized youth sport

The objective of the sport associations is to ensure that young people remain committed to physical activity and sport. In order to achieve this, coaches and parents play a crucial role. The research examines the causes of drop-out from all three perspectives.
