Perseverative cognitions

In our research, we investigate how individual differences in emotion regulation shape subjective well-being and somatic complaints throughout adolescence and adulthood. Specifically, our work seeks to understand how perseverative cognitions (such as trait and state rumination, and worry) are associated with emotional information processing, heart rate variability, and mental/somatic health both in laboratory settings and in everyday life.
