Cognitive Development and Education Research Group

The Cognitive Development and Education Research Group focuses on efficient adaptation in school and the cognitive skills that are required for that, especially on self-regulatory and executive function skills, which are strong predictors of school readiness, social and emotional well-being and later academic achievement. Based on our meta-analytic results, the group has started testing the effects of mindfulness-based interventions for fostering children’s executive function skills and stress management.
