Successful performance at the swimming MEFOB competition

A total of 214 participants took part in the competition held in Gödöllő on November 26, with the "A" category competitors competing against a number of world and European medal-winning swimmers, and the "B" category competitors competing against former national team athletes.

The 11 competitors representing ELTE won a total of six medals and several points: Márton Mürkli (in the opening photo) won the 100 meters and 400 meters freestyle, while he finished second in the 200 medley. Gréta Bátka also won silver medals in the 100 meters butterfly and 200 meters medley, while our foreign guest student Mari Yamaguchi won bronze in the 400 meters freestyles. The team, led by Tamás Molnár (BEAC) and Vanda Pintér (ELTE PPK ESI), finished 7th out of 20 universities in the overall competition.
