Summer School (UNIVERSIDADE DE SÃO PAULO)
The Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas of the Universidade de São Paulo (FFLCH/USP) opens a call for PhD professors who would like to teach seminars at the Summer School FFLCH 2020. The Summer School will run between February 3rd to 13th 2020.
The main goal of our seminars is to strengthen the academic links between our Faculty and the partners/agreed universities, through the creation of a space of academic visibility within which our students will have access to the research developed by the professors.
Professors are invited to present one week seminars totalize four days of course in the areas of: history, geography, philosophy, social sciences, political science, anthropology, language, literature, linguistics and translation studies.
The Summer School FFLCH is completely free. This characteristic expresses our commitment to a conception of a public university radically open to all, regardless of their financial condition. The FFLCH / USP offers to the professors an economic travel tickets and daily expenses worth R$ 411,20 (four hundreds eleven reais and twenty cents) per day.
Interested professors should send us a CV and a form with seminar proposal containing objectives, session descriptions, syllabus and bibliography. Proposals will be chosen by a committee composed of professors of our Faculty.
The results will be released on the September 10th. Professors should have teaching and research bounds with one of the universities that had agreements with us.
