Inauguration of the Ritoók Magda hall
In honor of the late ELTE PPK lecturer, Magda Ritoók, in the Department of Counseling and School Psychology, who died in April, room 101 of the Izabella Street building was named after her. On November 8, several lecturers spoke during a memorial, and a mini exhibition honoring Magda Ritoók's work was unveiled.

Dr. Ritoók Pálné dr. Ádám Magda, former lecturer at the Institute of Psychology, ELTE PPK, and founder of the Higher Education Counselling Association, passed away at the age of 86. One of the milestones of her work was the pioneering launch of the university counseling service at ELTE in 1986, which became a professional model for psychological counseling services in Hungary. She is also credited with the launch of the counseling psychologist training course in 1993.

In her memory, the ELTE PPK named a lecture hall after their former colleague at the Institute of Psychology. At the inauguration ceremony, Anna Kende, Director of the Institute, gave a speech, followed by Associate Professor Zsuzsa Kaló, who praised the role of Magda Ritoók in the history of the Department. Her former student, Sándor Risznyai, recalled the memories they shared, and at the end of the event, Mónika Viszket, Assistant Professor, presented the permanent exhibition of the room, where the relics of Magda Ritoók's work - books, conference proceedings and measuring tools - can now be viewed.
