ESI Ádám György Sports Psychophysiology Laboratory
In the Exercise Physiology Laboratory and the Biological Psychology Laboratory, which belong to the Ádám György Sports Psychophysiology Laboratory, staff of ELTE PPK’s Institute of Health Promotion and Sport Sciences perform fitness and psychophysiological measurements for educational and research purposes.

In the lab, ergometric bicycle and treadmill, spiroergometry, lactate measurement, heart rate monitors and Holter monitors are used to assess fitness and stamina. Body composition analysis is performed with InBody and Bodystat instruments. In the Biological Psychology Lab, NeXus and Biopac systems, as well as EMG, EEG, ECG, EDA, EOG and EGG measurements are used to study cardiac, respiratory, muscular and brain activity. Specialised measurement tools, such as a respiratory resistance tester and a thermal stimulation system, are available for the study of interoception and proprioception.
