The Bridge Project addresses the current gap between citizens working in education – specifically practitioners working for civil society organisations, Higher Education institution-based researchers – and policy-makers. The project aims to increase the participation of all these citizens in the democratic process of education policy-making via professional learning communities. The project also addresses the need for knowledge-sharing about education policy and inclusive policy-making processes across Europe. This will be achieved through the pan-European membership of the learning communities and their international and comparative approach to education policy research and development.
