Bence Halász is the face of ELTE Sport
Since 2016, Eötvös Loránd University has been awarding the Face of ELTE Sport to students who, in addition to their dedicated academic studies or work, have a long history of outstanding performance in competitive sport, thus promoting university sport among their fellow students and the wider public in a worthy manner. This year's winner is Bence Halász, Olympic silver medallist, World Championship bronze medallist, European Championship silver medallist in hammer throw, student of Recreation Management and Health Promotion at ELTE PPK.
In the academic year 2023/24, Bianka Pap is a Paralympic, world and six times European champion para-swimmer, student of ELTE University of Applied Sciences, in 2022/23 Petra Jászapáti is an Olympic bronze medalist in short track speed skating, student of German Studies at ELTE University of Applied Sciences, in 2021/22 Dóra Leimeter is an Olympic and European bronze medalist, world championship silver medalist water polo player, In 2020/21, Gergely Siklósi, Olympic, World and European Champion in Para-Equestrian Fencing, student of ELTE PPK, in 2018/19 Csaba Burján, Olympic and European Champion in Short Track Speed Skating, in 2016/17 Boglárka Kapás, Olympic bronze medallist, World Champion and seven times European Champion in Swimming, student of ELTE PPK.
