EDiTE project meeting in Brno
The meeting was an important milestone in the lifetime of the four-year-long (2016-19) project. This year the successful implementation and completion are the main priorities of the project. Writing and defending the dissertation by 15 ESRs and the presentation of the project results to national and interternational professional communities and on educational policy making platforms. On the project meeting, participants dicussed project sustainability and the continuation of the project in particular. Project partners unequivocally supported the continuation and further development of the project.
The project steering board accepted the programme of the Virtual Seminar organized by Masaryk University, Brno between 13-14 March. This Seminar offers another opportunity for further cooperation on the joint research program of the consortium (Transformative Teacher Learning for Better Student Learning in an Emerging European Context). The consortium approved the program plan of Summer School organized by ELTE PPK between 11-15 June, 2018 in Budapest. On the first two days of this summer school, EDiTE in strong collaboration with NAFOL (Norwegian National Research School in Teacher Education) are organizing an international conference (reported earlier in Newsletter 26 and 50).
On the preceding day of the project meeting, Kari Smith (head of NAFOL) conducted a full-day workshop on supervision in doctoral studies and introduced the most common global trends in the field to the supervisors and co-supervisors of the EDiTE team.
